I'm 21 years old,
I'm studing Hotel Management in Switzerland, there is no country in the world as peaceful
as Switzerland!
It has a wealth of natural beauty with its majestic mountains, wonderful woodlands,
beautiful lakes, vast vineyards and breathtaking landscapes together with a most agreeable
climate. Being located in the heart of Europe, capital cities such as Paris, London,
Amsterdam, Rome, Madrid or Berlin can be reached within 1 hours flying time. Switzerland's
population of 7.1 million is divided into 3 main regions where either French, German or
Italian is the main language.
The official language at
SHMS is English. SHMSis located in the French speaking part of Switzerland in the idyllic
townof Caux/ Montreux above Lake Geneva. Students are accommodated in the former 5* Caux -
Palace Hotel which offers panoramic views over the Riviera below the French Alps. The
internationally renowned resort of Montreux is only a 20 minute train ride away from the
school.
Other cities such as
Vevey, Lausanne, Geneva, Bern or even Zurich, Lucerne and Basle can be easily reached with
public transportation.
